Re: you dance on mold townspeople

I know...it's been a while since I've blogged and this isn't going to be a real blog either. I just had to take some time to commemorate a random spam that I opened this morning. I usually delete all of them out of my bulk Yahoo! folder, but the title (see above) was just a little hilarious, so I opened it and here are its contents:

Mr. Spenlow seemed quite cowed by the gentlemanly sternness of Miss and all gentlemen with anything bashful in their appearance, and flit away before us. I turned him hastily on some pretence, and I thought it was the office reeling, and not I, as one of the this while, the ruffian - HEEP - was professing unbounded gratitude Ill work at it at the Commons, where I havent half enough to do; able-bodied person in a white apron pounced out upon me from a_expression of face, as if his voice were behind his eyebrows; where and the remembrance of her clear calm eyes and gentle face came- but they are extremely general - and the great thing is, to be on own self, what had so thankfully happened. Now I know my reading comprehension isn't the best, but if anyone can help me out with what this means, I'd be ever so grateful. And who the fuck is Traddles? I'm sure Yahoo! did some truncating with the spam filter, so I'd be curious to know what this was really supposed to be. Enjoy!

Traddles is another character from David Copperfield, like Peggotty, Spenlow, Micawber, etc. Charles Dickens was eating some good mushrooms when he sent this spam; be sure to thank him!

I thought it sounded vaguely Dickensian, but wasn't sure. Peggotty was a pretty good clue, sounds like a damn Dickens name. My other clue was that I fell asleep halfway through reading it.

Ah, David Copperfield! Tommy Traddles was one of David's friends at boarding school.

I prefer Dickens un-blenderized, but, let's be honest: it's no Snakes on a Plane.
