Snackiavelli

Don't even ask about this one...in my classic weird dyslexic fashion, I managed to read something in the paper this morning and thought it said this fantastic word. It made me laugh my ass off, so I thought I'd post about what Snackiavelli might be. Perhaps Snackiavelli is the third shift supervisor at Frito Lay that does not allow any tasting of the Fritos or other tasty snack chips. Snackiavelli may also be the person who doles out the snacks in a kindergarten class - "I said, only ONE cookie, serf!" Or maybe Snackiavelli is working on the ultimate snack...one that contains the crunchiness of chips, the addictiveness of chocolate and the healthfulness of nuts. I can't think of a good name for this ultimate snack, so submissions are welcome.

Sophie has been rampaging this morning. She has finally hunkered down with her duplos and is now meticulously removing them from their bin and pulling them apart. Hey, whatever works. When she constantly moves, it drives me insane. It derails my train of thought and thousands are killed and thousands more are injured. The killed are the memories of what my life was like before her. The injured are the simple things, like, "What the hell was I doing with that knife in my hand? Oh, yeah, I'm still making breakfast. Wait, I haven't even finished eating breakfast from yesterday. Shit." Yup. That's life with the dynamo baby. I should make sure she's not eating any duplos.

Here is a great quote I found today:
Mankind's three deepest imponderables are infinity, eternity, and stupidity.
--Alan Harris

Oh yeah, and yesterday was December 8. It still makes me sad and I wasn't even there and didn't even have any awareness about it until I was much older. Strange how it hits me so hard sometimes though. Oh right, duplos....better check on my little Sophiavelli.

The crunchiness of chips, the addictiveness of chocolate and the healthfulness of nuts... For some reason the only word that comes to mind is "Crotch!" More for its phonetic and onomatopoetic qualities than for its literal meaning. Plus, it also sounds like a snack you'd see on Engrish.com.
